Job DescriptionPrivate Wealth Management (PWM) Associate Advisors Planning Tasks/Responsibilities 1. Work under the direction of Central Region Managing Director - Wealth Planning to support and advance the planning practice for each Market in the Central Region. 2. Provide much needed capacity for senior wealth strategist and senior wealth planners. This role will assist in data collection, financial tool utilization, research, case development, presentation design, and case management responsibilities, thereby freeing up the capacity for senior wealth strategist and senior planners to provide deeper engagements with clients and prospects, resulting in additional opportunities. 3. Coordinate initial document requests and production with members of the client team, especially with Private Wealth Advisors and their associates. 4. Initiate new plan data entry for new and existing clients into planning software and analytic tools, such as Money Guide Pro and NaviPlan plan/etc. 5. Updating MGP/Naviplan/etc. plan data for existing clients periodically (quarterly/semi-annually or annually, depending on the client meeting schedule) 6. Preparing slide deck with planning outputs 7. Draft flowchart in PPT, run Brentmark calculations. Crunching all the different options in the various software programs and then and packaging them into a client-friendly format. 8. Assist with reviews, analysis, and analytical comparisons of several alternative strategies – for example: Roth conversion, series of QCDs in retirement, charitable trusts, and NQDC vs life insurance as a supplemental retirement funding vehicle, etc. 9. Case Management - Advisements, Documented Strategies & Loyalty Drivers 10. Ensuring the timely completion of planning engagements, advisements & documented strategies. 11. Research a. Confirmation of beneficiary designations, TOD, POD or any other special client account assignments b. Review public filings for details on equity compensation, including RSUs, PRSUs and Options c. Keep up to date on relevant tax changes and their effect on client situations

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Two to three years of related experience in the financial services industry

Preferred Skills/Experience - Advanced knowledge of departmental operations/policies and U.S. Bank products and services - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions, interpret data and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance - Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications - Financial industry certification, e.g., AWMA, CFP, ChFC, etc.
