Job DescriptionThe Collateralized Debt Obligation Group (CDO) is a division within U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services. CDOs or CLOs (Collateralized Loan Obligations) are structured finance vehicles that issue debt and equity liabilities, with the proceeds being used to buy a portfolio of collateral. Typical types of collateral include broadly syndicated bank loans, middle market bank loans, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities (ABS), mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and Mezzanine debt.

Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects which may be general or systems related in nature. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project. Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance.

Ideal candidate has experience mining and aggregating data sets using SQL, VBA and other tools (Tableau, MS Office) in an effort to produce dashboards, scorecards and other control reports to communicate and manage business operations. Candidates need a well-rounded background to balance the line between IT and the business and be able to use technical skills to solution complex operational challenges and provide control and efficiency.

Existing experience with CLO operations including exposure to CDO Suite / Solvas, Wall Street Office (WSO), Markit ClearPar, Loan Closing / Trade Settlements or Bank Loan Administration / Compliance Modeling a plus.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience - Considerable knowledge of assigned business line or functional area - Demonstrated management and leadership skills - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Advanced knowledge of project management - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Master's degree preferred
