Job Description
U.S. Bank is searching for an Analyst to join a team of 4 Relationship Managers and an Associate covering large corporate clients and prospects in the Global Industrials & Services sector throughout the Midwest.
As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Associates, and internal partners providing value added support to cultivate, grow, and retain corporate client relationships.
Primary accountabilities include:
Research Industry and company background
Prepare Company specific financial analysis, comparative analysis, and acquisition modeling
Prepare pitchbooks, marketing and presentation materials
Assess Client profitability and return modeling
Input, maintain, and analyze Client records in Salesforce
Provide Know Your Client (KYC) support
Maintain internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, weekly updates.
Assisting with prospective client research, identification, and engagement
Research and analysis to identify products and services, and cross selling opportunities that meet customer needs
Assist Relationship Managers in delivering value-added solutions such as financing alternatives, acquisition scenarios, debt capacity analysis, and working capital analysis

This position will have a hybrid work arrangement and will be located in the Chicago downtown metro office.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
1 to 3 years of previous banking or related finance experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience in accounting and financial statement analysis, and knowledge of corporate finance concepts
Credit training
Self-starter and idea generator
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
Strong analytical, finance, and problem-solving skills
Capable of working well in teams and independently
Strong computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Salesforce
Desire to develop sales and relationship management skills
