U.S. Bank Payment Optimization Consultant - Remote in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Job Description

Part of the Elavon broader Revenue Optimization Organization, the Payment Optimization team is looking to hire the best and brightest.

This position plays a vital role in the ongoing success of the Payment Optimization team with the responsibility for being an internal resource to assist sales and relationship management teams in developing profitable new business relationships and growing our revenue streams from exiting accounts through the utilization of Elavon’s suite of payment optimization products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services

  • Analyzes external statements and internal customer data to uncover savings and profitability

  • Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization’s products and services to meet their needs

  • Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales

  • Establishes and maintains internal relationships.

  • Helps train sales and relationship management teams on product enhancements, updates, best practices, boarding procedures, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Five years of payment sales experience

  • Ability to travel

  • Above average knowledge of Interchange, Pricing Plans, and Fee Programs

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills

  • Thorough knowledge of client service issues and organization operations

  • Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance

  • Above average skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-starter attitude – ability to self-serve, investigate and get the information needed for the project at hand

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $69,615.00 - $81,900.00 - $90,090.00
