Job Description

The Working Capital Consulting team is a client process optimization team that is responsible for continually enhancing the U.S. Bank treasury management customer engagement model as well as executing sales readiness and market awareness strategies focused on digitization strategies. This dynamic team acts as thought leaders through trade shows, bank-hosted events, and digital channel presentations to varied audience demographics.

A working capital consultant is responsible for executing, coaching, and advancing the treasury management customer engagement model, with a focus client process digitization. By partnering with colleagues from sales, product management, communications and training, marketing, and other bank product lines he/she designs and executes large scale initiatives centered on optimizing the client experience with U.S. Bank. A working capital consultant enhances the performance of others by acting as a trusted partner and respected sales coach, as well as earns bank revenue by leading high profile customer engagements.

A successful candidate in the role will excel at dynamically presenting to large groups, clearly communicating client process applicability of new digital payment technologies, and effectively project managing key strategic initiatives by navigating through various group dynamics.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Ten or more years of related experience, preferably in selling multiple, complex integrated solutions to a variety of customers

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Capacity to seek out information on new process technologies in order to effectively develop and communicate optimization strategies, both internally and externally

  • Experience partnering with varied internal and external stakeholders to design and communicate client-related digital technology strategies

  • Demonstrated consultative, solutions-based selling background and experience

  • Public speaking experience in a creative and engaging manner

  • Experience as a respected process optimization coach/mentor

  • Proficient at leading projects related to organizing complex information in order to effectively train and educate others

  • Excellent presentation, training, verbal, and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00
