Job DescriptionAs part of the Enterprise Sales and Onboarding Platform Team, this person will lead a group of product managers in the development of onboarding capabilities across U.S. Bank, ensuring that U.S. Bank delivers best-in-class “One U.S. Bank” reusable digital experiences for customers and employees in a scalable, and cost-effective way. Responsible for the full life cycle management of current and future platform onboarding application capabilities and journeys across the enterprise, for all of our customer types and for our employees. Initial focus on building lending onboarding solutions for commercial and small business segments.
In this role, you will partner with business line, user experience, platform and technical counterparts to create onboarding experiences that meet core business objectives. This role will lead development and management of scalable and reusable onboarding capabilities, informed by market research, benchmarking, and relevant technology trends. You will form strategic business partnerships across the bank, translate product vision into an executable roadmap, and lead one or more agile teams in executing the roadmap to deliver best-in-class onboarding experiences.
Key activities: - Provide a vision and roadmap for best-in-class banking onboarding application platform and linking it to business objectives - Hands on leaders who leverages data, analytics, research, design and business understanding to ensure platform products manage risk while providing solutions and giving our customers great experiences. - Partner with capability managers, delivery managers, architects, designers, scrum masters, business lines and other product managers to evangelize the best solutions and facilitate execution across the enterprise. - Work collaboratively across businesses / functional areas to define, sequence, and execute the enterprise roadmap. - Leading the business of digital platform management and customer centricity - Take products from initial concept through user research, co-creation, and rapid prototyping - Act as a leader and mentor for other digital product managers and agile team member- Presents persuasively and authoritatively to peers and senior leadership, while facilitating collaborative conversation. - Directs people and work efforts across several, simultaneous projects to meet business goals. - Synthesize each project’s business goals to set specific, measurable objectives - Consistently delivering work that meets or exceeds commitments - Reporting regularly on performance to senior leadership - Managing the “brand” of the broader Enterprise Sales and Onboarding Platform team and promoting a customer-obsessed culture within the Bank, making the team a source of expertise others seek and want to join - Partner with Agile practice leads to evolve how Agile and Lean management are applied at the Bank - Motivates and engages team members to achieve peak performance and high job satisfaction
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of digital product management experience - Five or more years of managerial experience
Preferred Skills/Experience - Five or more years of experience managing digital product teams - 3 or more years of loan origination platforms (nCino) as well as CRM systems (Salesforce) experience - Knowledge of Commercial, Small Business and Retail banking products - Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills - Strong change management skills focus on leading transformational change - Exposure to or direct experience with enterprise IT environments and software development - Well developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - MBA
