Job DescriptionUS Bank is looking for a successful Data Governance, Cloud & Emerging Technology Manager to support our Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) initiatives focused on our team's capabilities around data discovery, data enrichment, data quality and data analytics and program management. The project work encompasses Data Analysis, Data Quality, Cloud Migration, Digital Transformation and Regulatory efforts. This role will collaborate with the business line and technology to identify, measure, analyze and remediate data quality problems through data analysis and information processing of large datasets. This role will report to the Director of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata and Authorized Data Sources and partners closely with business, risk, and technology teams to deliver meaningful data solutions to support enterprise and local priorities.

Primary responsibilities include: • Effectively work in matrixed team of Data Quality Analysts/Data Governance professionals in support of the development and program delivery of the EDG's capabilities to address a specific business and/or regulatory need. • Develop tracking and reporting mechanism to inform management on the risk exposure and mitigation strategy for cloud computing, including raising any unmitigated risk to business and project teams in a timely manner. • Work with technical and business groups to support cloud adoption and any new emerging technology • Interpret and communicate the results in a manner that is understood by the business.
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience. • 10+ years related technical experience, 10+ years analytical experience in the Banking/Financial industry or similar highly regulated industry
Preferred Skills/Experience · Experience working in a regulatory environment with knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends · Advanced knowledge of data governance, data architecture, data management and data governance tooling · Strong project management/business analysis knowledge and familiarity with Agile Methodology concepts · Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people · Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
