The Collateralized Debt Obligation Agency Group (CDO) is a division within Corporate Trust Services. Within the Loan Agency team, the majority of their business are syndicated bank loans where the loan information is tracked on behalf of the borrowers. The Loan Agency team acts as the main contact for the Borrower and for the lenders.
The Collateralized Debt Obligation Portfolio Admin’s responsibilities for Agency include:
Prepare bank loan trades for settlement and process them in the system once executed
Book cash inflows/outflows for each Borrower Account and reconcile on a daily basis
Track asset attributes such as accrual information, amortization, default status, etc.
Provide reports to the clients on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis
Respond to borrower or lender requests in a timely fashion;
Assist with reporting to federal regulators with respects to SNC and Tax Reporting;
Actively work to ensure lender tax forms are compliant by following up with lenders when needed and withhold if the lender does not become compliant
The incumbent ensures 100% accuracy and timeliness of data through proper booking and reconciliation of account activity.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Less than two years of relevant work experience
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
Basic indenture interpretation abilities and analytical skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
