U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Operations Analyst in our Commercial Lending Services Syndicated Loan Closing space! This individual is responsible for process and procedure oversight across the syndicated loan closing area including quality review functions, process standardization and simplification. We are seeking an individual who has an understanding and experience in the syndicated lending area as they would be responsible for maintaining all procedural documentation, recommending streamlined improvements, and training staff on procedural changes. By managing audit items and open risk issues, you would also create opportunities for enhancements and ensure issues are remediated timely within established protocols. We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of project management as they would be a liaison and technical resource between management, staff and information systems to define and communicate standards of operational policy, plans, customer service, and reporting. In this role you would manage audit items and need to self-identify issues with various teams in a fast-paced setting while tracking projects to ensure they meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Five or more years of related experience
Comprehensive knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for assigned business unit
Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders
Strong understanding of project management and testing methodology and procedures
Strong analytical and risk management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work as part of a project team
Effective verbal and written presentation and communication skills
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
