U.S. Bank Business Banking Sales Manager in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina
Manages sales staff responsible for the selling of assigned bank products and services generally for a specified geographic region or industrial segment. Ensures team sales goals are achieved. Oversees and trains Small Business Bankers, ensuring individual Banker production goals are met. Coordinates with Small Business Banking Regional Sales Manager to establish sales and budget goals, and develops market objectives and strategies for the products/services sold. Develops revenue, volume, and market share objectives for assigned staff and market area. Administers the annual budget for assigned area. Recruits, retains, coaches and manages performance of assigned Small Business Bankers. Partners with key individuals in the retail branches to develop, communicate and implement the sales strategy in order to meet/exceed business objectives, and exchange leads/referrals. Maintains and develops profitable relationships with customers and industry associations.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Eight to ten years of sales experience in the financial services industry
Three or more years of management experience
Considerable knowledge of sales and sales strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong management and leadership skills
Excellent new business development and relationship management skills
Well-developed customer service/relations skills
Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
Ability to make critical decisions independently
