Job Description
This position manages the activities of a team of investment accountants and takes ownership of all accounting functions for our multi-asset class portfolios. This position serves as the lead multi-asset class accounting liaison and is responsible for maintaining a calendar of deliverables, allocating tasks among available resources, and reviewing the quality of work produced. This position requires regular coordination with trading operations, client service teams, marketing staff, custodian banks and auditors.
Responsibilities:
Entrusted to perform responsibilities efficiently and thoroughly due to risk of reputational loss.
Assuring the existence of and adherence to operating procedures for all multi-asset class accounting functions.
Manage a team of investment accountants.
Oversee reconciliation of multi-asset class portfolios to custodian banks.
Data entry into accounting and reporting systems.
Performing data integrity and other quality control checks.
Assisting clients and client managers with inquiries.
Portfolio performance calculations.
Preparation of custom client reports.
Oversee all multi-asset class client invoicing.
Safeguards the integrity of the portfolio accounting and performance databases.
Updating, testing and maintaining the department’s business continuation plan and documentation for multi-asset class accounting.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in finance, investment management or investment consulting.
Solid quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Access. Familiarity with VBA and SQL strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments.
Ability to work independently and collectively as part of a team.
Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from all organizational levels.
Detail oriented with a commitment to excellence.
Desire to improve processes, take initiative and solve problems.
Working knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, equities and fixed income securities .
Experience with investment oriented software and/or Bloomberg or Morningstar.
Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Demonstrates superior ethics and sound judgment at all times.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
