Job Description

Developer Experience and Insights Product Manager will lead our external-facing platform agenda as we grow our strategic partner relationships through simple API experiences. We’re looking for the right PM to help us design, develop and launch best-in-class Developer experiences for our Point-of-Sale lending and BNPL business.

We look for people who obsess over user experience, believe in iterative approach and continuous discovery and have a strong track record of delivery. The essential skills start with listening and discovery, which culminate in business outcomes from partnerships. To accomplish this, you have a strong working knowledge of APIs, a keen understanding of Developers as your user and great respect for peers, colleagues and cross-functional partners that will be essential for your and the company’s success.

As a Product Manager, you’ll lead nimble cross-functional teams who share your passion and drive for solving human and business problems with data. In this role, you will:

  • Understand the developer and partner personas and how to drive great experiences

  • Define what is most important to our partners through data, market research, your past experience and an open-minded pursuit of our partner’s most valued needs

  • Define, build and measure the OKRs that lead to our stated business outcomes

  • Serve as leader and mentor to other PMs and stakeholders as the subject matter expert for the Developer experience

  • Stay abreast of new technologies that are driving business process simplification across the industry and be the leader in driving that change by partnering and piloting across various business areas.

  • Partner with the Engineering and Design teams to bring your Product Vision to life and inspire the team by driving design thinking mindset.

  • Be ok living with ambiguity, then taking action to drive to concrete solutions

  • Creativity to solve problems, driven by constant learning mindset will serve you well in this role.

  • Experience working with Agile Methodologies will be critical

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, advance degree or requisite experience in quantitative foundation – Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Data Engineering/Data Science

  • Experience in commercializing B2B or B2B2C solutions, with specific experience in:

  • Building specification and documentation for external APIs

  • Managing the content in developer portal

  • Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs

  • Preferably has experience launching 0-to-1 products at fintech or BaaS, SaaS startup or Merchant owner of BNPL/POS solutions

  • Strong functional background in product leadership including strategy, go-to-market, development of value propositions and with knowhow of Support processes and customer success challenges, demonstrated success delivering results, measuring performance and ensuring accountability

  • Strong product and technical background with Developer portals, API documentation and file formats

  • Able to lead, influence and partner within a matrixed environment. Prior experience working in and thriving in a shared services environment is required

  • Demonstrated ability to build healthy, inclusive work routines with tech and business partners to ensure consistent and productive sprint health

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $160,480.00 - $188,800.00 - $207,680.00
