We have multiple opportunities open at various levels based on experience as a Software Engineer or a Senior Software Engineer focused on development in Java 8, Spring boot, and using Microservices Architecture.

Essential Responsibilities: - Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products. - Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code. - Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs. - Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront. - Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards. Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures. - Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices. - Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards. - Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation. - Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. - Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery. Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation.

Leveling of position will depend on qualifications. Please read below for Basic and Preferred Qualifications of each level.

Software Engineer Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Three to five years of relevant experience

Senior Software Engineer Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Six to Eight years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Extensive experience in Java 8, Spring boot, micro services architecture, - Knowledge of REST API design and specifications - Micro services patterns like gateway, discovery, config and sidecar services. - Any Internal and/or external cloud implementations [Either AWS, Azure or Google cloud] - Spring integration with Apache Kafka, AMQP, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ - Knowledge of Apigee, security aspects like TLS, MTLS, oAuth2, session management. - Deployment tools using Docker, Kubernetes and overall DevOps - Experience in RDBMS like DB2, - Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra - CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck. - Experience with Manual and Automated Testing - Working experience with Hyland OnBase API and developing workflow configurations helpful.
