Job DescriptionLead Trainer for new Credit Analysts (new to bank, new to platform) by providing initial and advanced training (one on one or group setting). Primary focus will be on Large Platform underwriting (aggregate exposure > $1,000M), including C&I and D&I Credit Memos, CreditLens spreads, D&I spreads, risk rating templates, etc. Maintain training calendar and schedule applicable training. Assist with creating new and enhancing existing training materials. Collaborate with management to identify additional training needs. Present training in various formats (in-person, virtual, recorded, etc.) Promote consistency and efficiency with BBLS partners when applicable (such as Originations, SBA, etc.)Other duties may include: provide concurrence/approval support; assist with business line initiatives; occasional underwriting; back-up trainer on other platforms; other projects as assigned.Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Seven to ten years of experience in credit analysis and/or lending activities
Preferred Skills/Experience - Advanced credit analysis and analytical skills - Thorough knowledge of credit administration, policy and procedures- Expert knowledge of Small Business/Commercial Underwriting practices. BBLS specific knowledge preferred but not required. - Thorough knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance - In-depth knowledge of risk analysis - Excellent technical report writing skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products (word, excel, power point, etc.), OneNote, Microsoft Teams, nCino (preferred but not required), other technology as applicable.-Ability to work independently and collaboratively Benefits: Take care of yourself and your family with U.S. Bank employee benefits.
