Job DescriptionU.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of Corporate and Municipal debt services in the industry. Our clients look to us for Corporate Trustee, Municipal Trustee, Paying Agency, Fiscal Agency, Tender Agency and Escrow Agency services via our 48 domestic offices and three international offices abroad.

We are seeking an experienced business development officer. The ideal candidate will be eager to manage multiple steps such as following qualified leads, proposal write-ups, business retention and deal closing. Primary duties will include; • Actively identify and attract prospects and customers in the Corporate and escrow market for new and additional trust business. • Cultivate and maintain relationships with numerous sources of new business. • Meet with prospective clients within the corporate market to explain the company's trust services and assist clients in evaluating their needs. • Develop and deliver customized client proposals and presentations. • Maintain a continuing relationship with new customers to retain business and develop additional business. • Establish and maintain a network of key people in the industry and community

Primary offices to support are Boston and Hartford, however all states to be covered in the territory. New York will be an escrow sales focus and related products.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience - Five to eight years of sales experience in financial sales industry

Preferred Skills/Experience - Strong business development and sales skills - Ability to network to build and cultivate profitable relationships - Ability to proactively identify and capitalize on business development opportunities - Advanced knowledge of related trust business - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
