Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking an experienced information security professional with software engineering and development experience and demonstrated competence to contribute toward the success of our secure software development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with software development, RESTful APIs creation and use, and understanding of process automation. Knowledge of application development is required.

Responsibilities - Identify automation opportunities within the Secure SDLC - Design, create and implement solutions to automate processes. - Provide second level support to software development team members - Recommend, evaluate, integrate, and deploy security tools
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science OR equivalent work experience - Eight (8) or more years’ experience in information security - Two (2) or more years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, application architecture, risk management, data architecture, middleware technology, and IT operations and project management - Three (3) or more years’ experience in Angular development (version higher than 2 and above) - Five (5) or more years programming / development experience using JAVA - Three (3) or more years’ experience in working in Agile and Scrum methodology software development life cycle. - Three (3) or more years’ experience in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JSON, REST Webservices - Three (3) or more years’ experience with Build Forge, RTC, TFS and Jenkins (preferred)
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Ability to take project from concept to implementation - Working knowledge of Core Security Concepts - Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment - Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment - Good Analytical skills - Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering - Good communication skills. - Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment - Knowledge of common software vulnerabilities - Ability to collaborate and/or engage others to accomplish projects. - Ability to write clear, concise business communications - Experience integrating security into DevOps and CI/CD - Experience in Batch, Shell, and PowerShell scripting - Scripting experience to automate application security tasks is highly desirable.
