Job DescriptionAt U.S Bank, Senior HR Business Partners are called Talent Consultants. Talent Consultants partner with senior leaders to design and implement enterprise-wide and divisional people strategies, manage day-to-day relationships and deliver one HR through end-to-end people solutions in partnership with our Total Rewards, Recruiting, Talent, Learning and Development, and Employee Services teams. Talent consultants consult on organizational design, effectiveness and restructuring, serve as a talent coaches to senior leader, serve as a culture champion with a focus on DEI, and the organization through advanced people analytics COMPETENCIES: (The Why -Mindset / Thinking) Successful Talent Consultants exhibit: Business and Commercial Acumen – Has impressive intellectual horsepower and critical thinking skills and can be accretive to the senior management teams. Knowledgeable of emerging industry trends and able to clearly envision and communicate the future talent roadmap for the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drives alongside leadership teams the design, develop, and execution of people initiatives, strategies, and company culture. Aligns multi-dimensional change management efforts and presents strategies and initiatives in a way that provides clarity around integration and business relevance. Works closely with legal, ethics office and executive leadership to ensure high standards of professional and ethical conduct are maintained throughout the company, and full compliance with laws and legal obligations. SUCCESS FACTORS (qualifications) Business or Human Resources professional with progressive experience working at both a strategic and executional level, partnering with executive level leaders. Exceptional employee experience mindset. Robust market orientation with knowledge of emerging multi-industry themes (i.e. Digital, technology, regulatory, social economics) coupled with the current and future people implications on our bank. Strong track record of delivery of complex multi-discipline change programs, including transformational initiatives. Entrepreneurial spirit with strong and decisive results-oriented leadership, ability to influence with confidence in interactions, and has analytical, business and financial acumen. Ability to think strategically company-wide, analyze, and proactively respond to ever changing business needs and objectives. Strong understanding of organizational development, with the ability to lead and influence change from the executives to entry level employees. Ability to build a unique “One Bank and One HR” narrative around the company, to be communicated to all current and future employees in a manner consistent with the LOB. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with business leaders and matrixed partners. Ability and willingness to provide a balance of strategy and execution with hands-on management that is detailed and works alongside of team to get things done. High level of personal integrity, ethics, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills. Proven ability to execute large scale programs and projects from discovery, design and governance through to delivery. Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with cross functional partners to deliver projects in fast paced environment.
