Job Description

Sr. Sales Education Manager will play a key role in the implementation of the NA Revenue organization’s education strategy. Primary goal is to support the achievement of Elavon’s business performance goals and align to organizational KPI’s. SEM’s Ensure that Elavon’s strategic messages are appropriately imbedded into training tools and programs.

  • Consults with Elavon work groups to cross collaborate and influence the development of complex, specialized learning strategies to improve product knowledge, technical sales skills and organizational performance.

  • Leverages rapid development strategies to create content development of education products including but not limited to; multimedia deliverables, including videos, e-Learning courses, virtual webinars, guides, manuals, job aids, assessments, etc.

  • Design interactive presentation content for web-based training courses

  • Create content development of education products in collaboration with subject matter experts.

  • Design and maintain supplemental training materials for use during virtual training sessions or for use in pre- and post-course activities.

  • Own and manage a range of digital resources to optimize learning and ensure continued education.

  • Create formal education plans and tracking systems for each product in development, adhering to roadmaps and delivery deadlines.

  • Coordinate production of education products with internal staff, including product and marketing teams to move products from content development to release.

  • Facilitate training sessions across the enterprise selling space via multiple delivery methods such as web-based, virtual,, etc.

  • Designs and implements high-impact strategies for integrating technology into education programs.

  • Demonstrates thought leadership in the field of payments, sales and learning & development.

  • Develops and conducts follow-up assessments to determine the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.

  • Monitor industry trends and present recommendations for on-demand education, including topics of interest and delivery methods.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Progressive experience in Sales, learning & development discipline and facilitation with expertise in Adult Learning; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect).

  • Experience with curriculum development software and Learning Management Systems.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities as business partner within the organization to proactively ensure stakeholder needs are met.

  • Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.

  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Executives, peers, and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.

  • Ability to multitask and be comfortable while working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high energy environment

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.

  • High level of adaptability and business flexibility required.
