Job Descriptiontalech, U.S. Bank's newly acquired point-of-sale company, is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to help facilitate Agile processes within teams and enable the delivery of high quality and customer-focused software. In this role, the Sr. Scrum Master will oversee Scrum teams, manage releases, lead daily stand ups, provide direction to the engineering/development teams, as well as have an ability to create an environment that empowers and energizes the team, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration. Additionally, the Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for the performance and growth of a small team of scrum masters. The candidate provide direction to ensure they are performing at the level needed to contribute to company goals. Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple development teams
Facilitate Agile ceremonies e.g. daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint demos/retrospectives
Facilitate Program Increment planning and prioritization of the program backlog
Collaborates with product owner and architect to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
Facilitates interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture and UX
Facilitates PI and Readiness - Aggregate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives. Verifies and manages dependencies identified on the Program Board
Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve
Ensures successful delivery of large impact and/or cross-functional product initiatives
Experience working with offsite teams across multiple time zones
Coaches, mentors and provides guidance to scrum masters
Collect and present metrics in various formats for different audiences
Make use of data to create actionable plans for optimization, improvements
Be a source of inspiration and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork
Maintain a safe environment, where everyone feels respected, empowered, and free to express their constructive thoughts and feelings

Basic Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. -At least 3 years of experience in Agile technology delivery. -5 years of experience in Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) teams and an understanding of basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development. -3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
Preferred Skills/Experience -At least 5 years of experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects. -Experience in SaaS, SMB based businesses, payments and mobile companies. -System development life cycle. -SAFe methodology. -Experience managing Scrum teams. -Strong communication skills. -Document management. -Confluence and JIRA. -Project control and reporting. -Project planning and organization. -Agile IT project management.
