Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Sr. Release Train Engineer with servant leader mindset and act as a coach to any agile roles. It is critical for the candidate to Facilitating Large Solution events and experience in Solution layer management in SAFE Agile
Involved in PI Planning readiness aligning to the vision and roadmap
Lead and drive Program Increments by aligning to PI objectives to deliver value on demand
Facilitate PI planning events helping the team to self-organize and plan
Experience in facilitating and driving ceremonies at program level to help team progress in the right direction
Deep understanding on how team is structured and delivers. Be able to independently drive the need for a PI
Dependency and Stakeholder management with good understanding on tracking upstream / downstream dependencies along with delivery milestone
Facilitates team transparency by escalating impediments and shares progress by the team to the appropriate channels
Actively engaged in defining and managing action items, identifying issues and risks, adjusting scope, and identifying tasks necessary to complete planned work
Excellent communication with leadership, business stakeholders and within the team
Drives quicker delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity
Capture and publish applicable team and program metrics on a periodic basis
Help to create self-governing structures that empower teams to make decisions to drive development through iteration
Act’s as a coach to any Agile role or stakeholder opportunities and leads in a variety of learning opportunities
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and support tools.
At least 5 years of experience within an Agile solution environment working on large scale, multiple scrum team.
Demonstrated experience in leading all aspects of Agile transformation.
Experience communicating with leadership (lead through influence).
Agile or Professional Coaching certification or equivalent work experience.
Extensive experience with Agile engineering practices and technique, a working knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and process change/improvement.
