Job DescriptionEssential functions Apply subject matter expertise in B2B pricing strategy & tactics to ensure Elavon wins at a fair price & profit, and at fair commercial terms & conditions, for the value we provide our customers Participate in the requirements gathering, design and implementation of pricing tools and models to enact pricing strategy that can be governed; and that simplifies buying and selling. Win: Increases win rates and reduces discounting with appropriate pricing, packaging, and tactics for the stage in customers’ buying journeys Keep: Uncover and quantify financial value Elavon provides to customers for account planning, ahead of renewals, to increase stickiness and to reduce reliance on discounting Grow: Ensure both Elavon and customers are delivering on commitments, and identify additional opportunities to solve customers’ problems Use advanced analytics techniques to generate actionable insights on large-scale, high-dimensional data and attributes, for executive presentations with recommendations Research and resolve problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems. May assist in the development of financial applications.
Basic Qualifications Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience - Six or more years of related experience
Preferred Skill/Experience Superior knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Expert ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data Expert Excel & SQL experience Experience within the payments industry, preferably within a pricing and/or finance organization Subject matter expertise in and experience with B2B pricing best practices, including Subscriptions, value-based pricing and packaging, and deal governance Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple complex tasks and priorities Natural curiosity and ability to identify and solve complex and ambiguous analytical problems Tenacity to overcome obstacles to generate desired outcomes, not just to complete tasks
