Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will join our Information Security Risk Assessment Team, supporting the Information Security Services Organization within U.S. Bank. This role will be responsible for assessing the risk to the organization’s assets in accordance with established information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with the organization's overall risk management strategy. This includes conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the organization's information systems, networks, and data. Requires regular monitoring and reporting of compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of potential risks and compliance requirements.

Job Description

Responsible for developing and implementing information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with the organization's overall risk management strategy. This includes conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the organization's information systems, networks, and data. Requires regular monitoring and reporting of compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of potential risks and compliance requirements. Oversees the implementation of security controls and technologies to protect the organization's information assets, including data encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically five or more years of relevant experience

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner

-Advanced degree in Information Systems Management or Information Security and/or related field is a plus but not required

-Any one of the following certifications CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTia is a plus

Knowledge of: ServiceNow IRM, Archer, Mitre ATT&CK Framework, NIST 800- 53, NIST 800- 30, NIST 800- 73, CIS Benchmarks, PCI-DSS, Cloud Security Alliance CCM and guidance

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
