Job Description

Elavon is looking for talented individuals to help us drive innovation and excellence for our Payment gateway services and applications. We are looking for individuals with experience in Payment gateway services that offer businesses the ability to accept credit card payments from their customers via an eCommerce website, a POS terminal, an over the phone or mail order, or through software created by an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) for approval in a safe and secure way. If you have deep experience in card acquiring and payment gateway processing and have worked extensively developing payment acceptance solutions for merchants, and are well versed with processing traditional as well as emerging payment types in card-not-present and card-present environments, and you are someone who takes charge and makes things happen, we would definitely like to talk to you.

We are looking for technically savvy Product Management talent to help us continue to grow and launch new features and services. We’re looking for people passionate about taking complex, robust payment services and simplifying the use and adoption for our customer and partner community in a consumable, supportable and scalable Do-It-Yourself approach.

Key functions

  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders and other business lines to drive execution

  • Be a well-rounded product leader – someone who has excellent product design sense, with an awareness in supporting market dynamics, GTM operations and sales

  • Be accountable for product roadmaps, resource allocation, and release cadence with time to market and quality at the forefront

  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of well qualified and empowered product managers

  • Drive product discussions with our most important users and partners to ensure that we achieve our targets

  • Be an evangelist for your product area, mentor others to lead and drive business results appropriately

  • Ensure integration of Risk & Compliance requirements as an integral part of our roadmap planning and delivery

  • Define and monitor appropriate KPIs/metrics and methods for measuring for each product - adjust course to ensure success when needed

Key skills & Experiences

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience designing and building B2B products; ideally payment gateway platforms and services, including eCommerce payment solutions, fraud and security related solutions

  • 5+ years of experience building successful product teams - hiring, developing and leading Product Managers

  • Technical skills e.g., ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems, building enterprise platforms using cloud native technologies, make meaningful contributions in high-stakes discussions on data modeling or software architecture, etc.

  • Empathy for the problems that businesses face in their day-to-day operations, and a desire to solve those problems

  • The drive to flourish with minimal guidance; you are proactive and thrive in uncertain and ambiguous environments

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems

  • Well-rounded product leadership - someone who has excellent product design sense, technical chops and experience bringing products to market through a structured commercialization process
