Job DescriptionDirectly and through professional staff, oversees the strategic product management for a major product line or a group of related product lines in support of the organization's goals and market needs. Meets product profit and growth goals. Oversees the evaluation of market trends, product development, product position and pricing philosophy. Recommends revisions and enhancements to product lines to stimulate sales and meet objectives.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of product management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical discipline - Ten or more years of work experience in a product management leadership position - Previous experience of the Fintech/eCommerce payments business and associated technologies - Previous exposure to working in an agile software development cadence - Demonstrable experience of bringing enterprise scale products from ideation phase right through to successful market launch - High familiarity with roadmap & backlog management tools such as Jira, Version 1, Confluence . Aha etc. - Comfortable interfacing directly with software development teams to articulate product vision & priority focus and orchestrating release scheduling - High degree of professional credibility, effective presence and ability to articulate product vision and influence decisioning making to a C-Level audience - Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and keep multiple delivery streams moving simultaneously - Working knowledge of modern technology concepts such as Microservices Design , Headless Commerce, Cloud Native Technologies etc. - Thorough knowledge of competitive market in the payments space, along with emerging trends and influences shaping this industry - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
