U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Solution Architect within U.S. Bank’s Integrated Card System (ICS). The candidate will have solution-based architecture experience that can contribute toward the success of our larger and more complex technology initiatives in a product-based, agile environment. Candidate drives early alternatives review for solutions. Can create an intellectually understandable abstraction of a complex business and/or technology process change. Participates in the definition of non-functional requirements and ensures that the application architecture supports these requirements.
Candidate provides strategic input for long-term application direction and executes on specific initiatives that support the long-term viability of the Integrated Card System. Ensures compliance with Enterprise Architecture, Technology Standards, and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning. Leads and provides direction in evaluation of vendor products to determine conformance with bank technical standards and appropriate fit with business needs.
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 3 years of experience with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.
-At least 8 years of experience with developing and implementing applications.
Extensive experience in System development lifecycle and Product-based agile development.
Extensive experience in Distributed platforms, Open API strategies, Information security management , Cloud migration strategies , Product and vendor evaluation
Experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience in Cloud Enabled/Native technologies/microservices architecture
Credit card processing experience a PLUS
Strong experience with Application testing , Application development tools , User interface design, Business process modeling, Application delivery process, Application design and architecture.
Proven ability to guide the design of complex solutions from functional and non-functional requirements
Strong leadership & collaboration skills with solid communication skills, both written and oral
Engaging approach, with a hands-on style to solving business issues through technology
Practical and thoughtful understanding of architectural & development principles and technique. The ability to develop effective conceptual diagrams and other architectural documentation is essential
Proven ability to work effectively in the typical ambiguity of larger designs and implementation plans

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $88,910.00 - $104,600.00 - $115,060.00
