Job DescriptionElavon is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer with exceptional IT project management process and methodologies experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. This position is responsible for implementing and overseeing data integration processes, developing and deploying BI tools and reports, and identifying and implementing process improvements. Responsible for leading the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and data warehouse. This role will work closely with team members and end users throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Deliverables for the role are: Develop efficient and high performing BI solutions that aim to improve the availability and scalability of data warehouse
Ensure critical data is available within SLAs
Enable a data foundation that provides for business intelligence solutions across the portfolio management and technology organizations
Optimize and troubleshoot ETL pipelines and SQL queries
Communicate effectively with end users and team member
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of relevant experience
Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of ETL, data warehousing, and SQL experience
1+ years of relevant data analysis experience using Excel (Charts, PivotTables, VLOOKUPs)
1+ years of relevant experience with data visualization tools (ie Tableau, PowerBI)
Experience extracting data programmatically from multiple types of data sources including APIs
Programming language experience (C#, Python, or similar language)
Resourceful at coming up with solutions using existing or available resources and proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements
Experience automating processes
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
Highly organized and able to work on multiple projects at once
BA/BS in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Math, Econometrics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Experience: Experience working in an agile environment
Experience with the following tools is preferred: Oracle SQL Developer, VBA, Tableau, JIRA/JIRA Align, Power Automate, SharePoint, Salesforce, Informatica, Alteryx, and Clarity
