Job Description Position Highlights

Participates and drive modifications of Authorization platform(s) in the areas of project definitions, business process flows enhancements, and requirement definitions to support card brand rules and new opportunities.

Monitors and analyzes the Authorization Systems to alert management of possible errors with priority focus on financial risk. Provide monthly performance scorecard use to monitoring technical team service levels.

Manages the verification of systems functionality with each Enterprise Release event affecting the Authorization platforms to maintain system integrity. This includes working with Core Systems Business Acceptance to ensure changes function as expected, validation of Implementation of changes, and Release Note documentation.

Ensures all documentation and support requests comply with established policies and procedures.

Develops in-depth knowledge of the information needs of business partners. Collaborates with the business, managerial and technical resources to support those needs.

Coordinates and/or participates in special task forces to identify and respond to user needs.

Maintains an awareness of current legislation, developments and conditions affecting assigned business unit operation policies, procedures, programs, etc.

Work with the Product Managers and Product Owners with research and inquiries to support new feature and enablers.

Continuous improvement analysis. Work with Product Managers and Product Owners to help design logic flows in the AXIS platform to continue to provide the best customer experiences and outcomes as well as maintain efficiencies to aid in future development.

Attend the semi-annual regulatory requirement meetings and assist Product Managers and Product Owners with any research or inquiry work in support of the identified features or enablers.

Has responsibility to respond to production support requests and maintenance for the Core authorization platform. Will require research and analysis of current systems and platform knowledge for evaluations. Will need to work in teams as well as solo inquiries.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Five to eight years of related experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

General knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for Card Brand Management

Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, and conferring with business line leaders

Thorough understanding of Agile project management, testing methodology and procedures

Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

Strong analytical and forecasting skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

Ability to work as part of a project team

Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills

Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
