Team overview

The role of the Card Scheme Team is to be a reference point for all Elavon business lines in respect to card scheme regulations and to act as a liaison on behalf of Elavon business lines with the card schemes. This role also ensures Elavon maintains compliance with Card Scheme regulation by maintaining documentation and records, preparing reports, completing research and coordinating responses in relation to Card Scheme rules.

Our 2-year graduate program (undergraduate) will give you the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business and you will complete three rotations of 8 months:

  • Rotation 1: Card Scheme Management

  • Rotation 2: Card Scheme Technical Team

  • Rotation 3: Card Scheme Commercial Insights

Responsibilities for the role

  • Collaborating cross-functionally across business and technology groups to ensure timely and accurate resolution of card scheme queries/requests.

  • Managing card scheme related queries received from internal business lines.

  • Managing various notifications and communications received from the card schemes.

  • Administrative role for access to Card Scheme tools.

  • Development of the Card Scheme Team sharepoint site

  • Content creation related to Card Scheme rules for external and internal communication channels highlighting the key focus areas, impacts and opportunities.

  • Maintain oversight of the Card Schemes requirements for mandated reporting

  • Query/Issue management

  • Keeping up to date with Card Schemes rules and sharing knowledge and best practices on card scheme compliance within Elavon

Basic qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or masters in Business/Finance/Law with a target completion date of May 2023 or 2024

  • 1 year work experience or less

  • Ability to start graduate program on 2 Sept 2024

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Solid understanding of financial and technology

  • Strong in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Attention to detail

Location : Arklow (3 days office & 2 working from home)
