Job Description

The marketing specialist will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Segment lead (in Ireland or the UK) to drive and implement the strategic marketing activity in market. This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketer with 2-3 years’ experience to develop their marketing career to the next level. The Market specialist will be responsible for a wide range of marketing activity and will work with the EU Segment Leads to ensure that each project and campaign has successful results for Elavon.

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing targeted marketing plans, assisting with campaign development and analysing the effectiveness of a wide mix of marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging the company's customer base, and creating and delivering effective campaigns that will promote the long-term growth of our business.

Skills Required

The job requires an efficient worker with Marketing experience across the full marketing mix, preferably in a regulated industry. The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. Must be a versatile team player with the ability to show grace under pressure. The position requires an organised, dependable self-starter who can juggle a number of tasks and projects. Must be comfortable collaborating and managing stakeholders across the organisation and a strong ability to interact with key internal departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support to the Corporate Segment Lead on identified marketing plans and agreed activities for in-country implementation

  • Ensure all marketing collateral is produced to a high standard to meet the brief and is customer centric

  • Manage the compliance and sign off process for all external content (legal and compliance).

  • Administration of budget to ensure it is optimised to deliver effective campaigns

  • Support the implementation of campaigns to agreed timelines ensuring all stakeholders are kept up dated

  • Responsible for maintaining auditable records of all material from brief to execution

  • Liaise with shared services for delivery of specific marketing activities/campaigns as agreed

  • Ensure all necessary tracking is in place with key stakeholders to measure effectiveness of campaigns and undertake appropriate analysis and recommendations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience

  • Excellent business writing and communication skills. Experience of project-managing marketing campaigns

  • Experience of working with creative agencies

  • Proficient presentation skills

  • Track record of marketing campaign content creation

  • Confident communicator who isn’t afraid to challenge and ask questions

  • Experience of managing engagement with complex stakeholders

  • Team player who works well with a range of personal styles

  • Project management skills and the ability to manage several projects at one time

  • Ambitious individual with a passion to develop.

  • Ability to quickly grasp the rudiments of a large range of highly complex technologies in order to be able to engage with customers in a meaningful way

  • Flexibility and the ability to meet challenging deadlines

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Digital marketing a distinct advantage.
