Job DescriptionThe ISS Associate Director for Cybersecurity Partnerships collaborates closely with the Cybersecurity Partnership Executive to establish and oversee industry, government, and academic partnerships that bring value to the Information Security mission of U.S. Bank. The individual engages with external colleagues on behalf of U.S. Bank and ISS on matters of mutual cybersecurity/ information security concerns.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Researching partner opportunities and building the business case for establishing, maintaining, modifying, or terminating specific partnerships.

Working with ISS leaders and Subject Matter Experts to understand business information or expertise needs and gaps that may be partially or completely addressed through external partnerships.

Overseeing the administrative details of specific partnerships after primary responsibility for day-to-day engagement has been handed off to Subject Matter Experts.

Serving as the primary identified point of contact within ISS for specific external partner organizations.

Representing ISS in multilateral fora and working groups associated with trade associations, public-private collaboration activities, peer institutions , educational programs, etc.

Managing aspects of the ISS Cybersecurity Scholarship Program, which supports student scholarships at select colleges and universities with which ISS maintains relationships.

The Associate Director will need: Effective interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse technical and non-technical teams.

Attention to detail, coupled with the ability to keep a firm grasp on “the big picture.”

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including executive briefing experience.

Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

At least five years of experience working with senior leaders in a corporate (industry, government, or academic) leadership environment.
