Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is currently seeking a Product Strategy Analyst, who will be part of the Retail ATM Product Management Organization. This individual will work primarily in an Agile environment and may also be assigned to Waterfall projects. Depending on PMO and business line needs, this individual may act as any one of the following: Scrum Master, Project Manager, Product Owner/Product Owner Delegate, or team member/Business Analyst. He/she will partner closely with customers (internal and external), the business line(s), and Agile or Waterfall teams to drive the evolution of the assigned product(s) or project(s). Additional responsibilities include: • Serves as a Scrum Master and servant leader for Agile team(s) and keeps the team focused and provides overall guidance for Agile principles: • Actively leads and participates in all Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand ups, refinements, demos, and retrospects; • Escalates impediments and tracks and documents issues and risks; • Provides relevant updates to stakeholders and management; • Plans and ensures the proper documentation is complete in readiness for production releases; and • Maintains clarity for project and portfolio management. • Serves as a Product Owner/delegate expert on Agile Teams(s) and works with business line stakeholders and team members to define and understand the goals, objectives, and success criteria: • Performs system and business analysis to understand potential impacts, risks, and dependencies; • Documents and grooms user stories in the backlog to ensure stories are ‘ready’ for sprint planning; • Actively leads or participates in all Agile ceremonies; • Accepts user stories as ‘done’ and ensures the end solution functions as designed and meets the business needs; and • Documents all requirements for Waterfall projects, when assigned. • Serves as a team member/Business Analyst, who documents and grooms user stories in the backlog and actively leads or participates in all Agile ceremonies.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Six to eight years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience • Agile experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or team member • Experience with VersionOne, Jira, or other Agile software tools • Experience in product/project management and/or product development • Experience with Clarity • Ability to lead meetings and keep others on task • Ability to learn on-the-fly and make rapid and informed decisions • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization • Ability to think strategically and analyze complex dependencies and solve complex problems with innovative solutions • Ability to challenge the status quo and negotiate wins without damaging relationships • Ability to cope with an ever-changing product and system landscape • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, and documenting and making verbal and written presentations • Experience in Agile technology delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) • Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications • Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision • Ability to work as a team leader • Ability to travel, as needed, once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted
