U.S. Bank Credit Portfolio Manager 2 in SEATTLE, Washington

Manages a credit or loan portfolio by preparing accurate, concise, and timely credit approval documents for an existing portfolio of relationships, primarily commercial, but also consumer. Also provides guidance on credit structuring, risk rating decisions, and pre-screen discussions for existing clients and new prospects. Coordinates work with the external client, Relationship Manager, Credit Risk Management, and other groups, to streamline work flow among underwriting, credit approval and risk management. Maintains a strong early warning system to assure timely and accurate risk ratings and loan agreement compliance. Keeps existing portfolio "audit-ready." Assists the Relationship Manager with loan documentation.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to seven years of experience in Wealth Management lending

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of commercial lending policy, government agency compliance (Reg B, H, O, etc.), all applicable laws and regulations, and company and business line policies and procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of credit quality standards and credit products

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong leadership ability to mentor coordinator the work of others

  • Well-developed written communication and verbal presentation skills
