U.S. Bank Platforms Manager in SAN FRANCISCO, California

Within the Omnichannel Platform Team, the Product Platform Manager will manage and oversee strategic objectives for deposits and loan platforms related to the consumer, small business, and customer centric core systems in support of Omnichannel Experience and Support. Work in partnership with Omnichannel Experience and Delivery teams and internal partners on overall objectives and project delivery. Provide strategic and tactical support for related platform and project work. Makes recommendations to standardize procedures and processes and to introduce new technology or improve existing technology. The individual will be responsible to ensure that projects are effectively managed with all stakeholders involved, ensure flawless execution and ensure all stakeholders’ needs are met. Provide subject matter experience and leadership to maximize platform opportunities; championing our platforms across channels to create simple, seamless experiences for our customers and bankers. Demonstrate independent leadership across all duties. Requires thorough knowledge of the assigned business functions, industry innovation, collaborative leadership, strong communication skills and mature technical application skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management and leadership activities

  • Five or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ability to formulate a strategic technical roadmap and execute accordingly.

  • Oversight of platform metrics and effective results oriented action planning.

  • Experience at other Financial Institutions a plus.

  • Experience with Agile and API technology approaches a plus.

  • Fintech experience or multichannel delivery experience a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and deliver communications to all levels within the project team and organization.

  • Strong project management, analytical, forecasting, planning and organization. Experience in various technical development approaches a plus.

  • Ability to conduct analysis of a business need, formulate written business requirements, identify and resolve issues.

  • Ability to develop test schedules, review test plans, complete business line testing and track test results.

-General knowledge of policies, procedures, products and regulatory requirements relating to Small Business and Consumer Banking; Deposits and Loans.

-Experience at other Financial Institutions a plus.

-Acquisition or conversion experience a plus.

-Demonstrated leadership skills.

-Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.

-Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast paced environment.

-Ability to work as part of a remote project team.

-Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
