U.S. Bank eCommerce Sales Consultant- West Coast in SAN FRANCISCO, California

Elavon is currently seeking a Commercial Middle Market eCommerce Sales Consultant, who will be a part of the Global eCommerce Team. The Commercial eCommerce Sales Consultant will be responsible for helping drive new revenue from eCommerce and Recurring Transaction merchant opportunities with mid-market size businesses. This person will support as a consultant the West Coast Elavon Sales team as an eCommerce expert.

Job Responsibilities

This role is to support and help drive new sales with the Elavon Commercial Middle Market Team. This team is West coast based. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Engagewith product teams to help drive strategy

  • Buildrelationship with Elavon Sales team and bankers and other leadsources(Partners) to drive leads

  • Supportthe full sales cycle from lead to close

  • Developprofitable new business account relationships

  • Identifybusiness opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, productsand services;

  • Makesales presentations to existing and prospective clients;

  • Respondingto RFP’s, supporting presentations, navigating internal resources to helpsolidify opportunities.

  • HelpingArchitect eCommerce solutions

  • IdentifyPartners where applicable

  • Interfacingwith many internal business units including, Product, Marketing, Legal,Boarding & Implementations etc

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, relevant work experience

  • 3 years of sales experience in the Payments Industry and Financial Services Industry

  • 30% Travel

  • Passion for innovation, emerging technology

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a client facing role selling and/or supporting complex enterprise software, technical or financial services

  • Experience selling eCommerce solutions in the merchant card industry

  • History of exceeding quota

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Strong consultative sales skills

  • Creative deal closer

  • Ability to understand complex requirements and devise customized solutions

  • Ability to build strong pipeline with profitable opportunities

  • Solve complex needs and work across internal teams including risk, operations, product etc.

  • Relevant network of contacts is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills
