U.S. Bank Quality Assurance Senior Group Manager in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota

U.S. Bank is seeking an effective Senior Quality Assurance Group Manager with demonstrated successful Agile project approach and resource management experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Responsible for development and support of testing strategy, processes and practices necessary to produce quality products/services and manage risk. Establishes and monitors standards for organization's support and/or Agile software development processes. Oversees review and audit of activities including processes, procedures, and software products; to verify quality and compliance with applicable standards and provides results to managers. Partners with application group and project management senior management to oversee early stages to establish plans, standards, and procedures that will add value to a project or process and satisfy constraints. Ensures procedures and standards fit project/process needs and verifies usability for performing reviews and audits. Recruits, hires, coaches, and develops employees. Conducts performance assessments. Executes corrective actions including termination, if necessary. Manages over 10 employees. Approves hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards, and reviews. Oversees creation of planning and controls for moderate to large project/product budgets.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile(successfully managed testing on a project using Agile)

  • Demonstrated experience with testing automation and performance testing of applications(Dev Ops)

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-ITIL Service Management Foundation Certification

-At least 10 years’ experience with the processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to quality standards associated with developing, enhancing and operationalizing application systems and databases.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Extensive experience in:

-Requirements analysis

-Agile approach to testing.

-Dev Ops inmplementation.

Jenkins - CI/CD testing
