U.S. Bank Business Technology Analyst 6 in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota

This position will provide project support for U.S. Bank Securities Services technology initiatives. As a technology project expert, you will take on multiple project role assignments which include: serving as business requirements lead, including elicitation of requirements from relevant stakeholder groups and analysis and documentation of high level and detailed requirements; business line test lead, including creation of test plan and test scripts, coordination of testing, and tracking of defects and test status;

This position will provide project support for U.S. Bank Securities Services technology initiatives. As a technology project expert, you will take on multiple project role assignments which include: serving as business requirements lead, including elicitation of requirements from relevant stakeholder groups and analysis and documentation of high level and detailed requirements; business line test lead, including creation of test plan and test scripts, coordination of testing, and tracking of defects and test status; and business readiness lead, coordinating all business-related project tasks such as procedural updates, training, and internal/external communications. Lead large scale projects such as new product implementations and regulatory compliance initiatives. Incumbent will manage multiple projects concurrently, and interface with internal and external resources to ensure successful project delivery, meeting client needs through all project phases; will coordinate and manage project activities of external consultants and internal subject matter experts within various project tasks; and act as a consultant and partner with senior leadership to develop project strategy and direction to meet long term business goals.

Projects include, but are not limited to the Cash Strategy CapEx initiative.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management, and computer technology applications and analysis

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations

  • Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology (PLM) and testing methodology/procedures

  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Extensive leadership and negotiation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Thorough knowledge of a business line or function area
