U.S. Bank Business Operations Analyst 3 (Technical Trainer) in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota

Under minimal direction and guidance, provide technical software training to external Remote Deposit Capture customers. Assist in reviewing, updating, and training end-user documentation. Collaborate on special team projects and serve as a subject matter expert to various internal departments. Deploy customer requested hardware and document process flow status. Ensure customers are properly billed for services and equipment. Make recommendations to standardize and improve department processes and procedures.

Specific Job Tasks:

TRAINING

  • Analyze training work order requests to interpret customers training needs.

  • Place customer scanner orders via on-line ordering site.

  • Review reports and conduct customer follow-up.

  • Conduct a variety of trainings via WebEx to On-Site Electronic Deposit, Deposit Express, and Lockbox Remote Capture customers.

  • Log and track training sessions, customer information, and departmental metrics.

  • Gather and create monthly departmental statistical reports and checklists.

  • Review and update training scripts with system changes, features and new functionality.

  • Continually learn and keep up-to-date with new software features and functionality.

  • Manage and coordinate training schedule with customers.

  • Assist Production Support in trouble-shooting customer issues.

  • Collaborate with Implementation, Project Managers, Treasury Management Sales, Relationship Managers and customers to create individualized training programs for large customers

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of experience in operations/technology project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • General knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for assigned business unit

  • Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders

  • Thorough understanding of project management and testing methodology and procedures

  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • High level of detail orientation and professionalism

  • Excellent verbal and written presentation, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development/similar field or 5-8 years of adult training experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of adult learning theories and principles

  • Knowledge and experience with WebEx

  • Experience within the financial services industry
