U.S. Bank CDC - Project Manager, PMO in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri

The U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC) Operations Organization is seeking a Project Manager to continue our development of an Enterprise Project Management Office. The newly formed Project Management Office is responsible for successfully leading enterprise wide business and technical initiatives. Candidates joining this team will be on the ground floor of a newly formed function and will get the opportunity to shape processes in delivering organizational value.

Essential Functions:

•Responsible for project planning, data collection/analysis/synthesis, SME interviews, process mapping, gap analyses, and solution development

•Responsible for the assessment, design, and delivery of enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives.

•Provides objective advice, expertise and specialist knowledge with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth, or improving business performance

Assigned projects may be business related or systems related in nature. This highly visible role will interface with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management and leadership activities

  • Five or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

•At least 6 years’ experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and project control.

•Subject matter expert in:

•Project planning and organization methodology (including both Waterfall and Agile)

•IT standards, procedures, policy

•Project office/administration

•Project Management certification is a plus.

•Business process optimization experience. Six Sigma and/ or Lean Certification is a plus.

•Extensive experience in project control, reporting and information management

•Advanced knowledge of organization policies and procedures

•Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills

•Technical project prioritization experience

•Demonstrated management and leadership skills

•Strong organizational and analytical skills

•Ability to use Data Analysis to convert data into better business decisions

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
