U.S. Bank is seeking a Elasticsearch Engineer with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. In this role you will be part of the team established to configure and develop complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms, and consult with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation. You'll be working closely with the Delivery Manager, IT development, and Architecture groups while collaborating with several lines of business.
This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the ElasticSearch infrastructure. Develop scripts to retrieve data, using Logstash to retrieve and transform data. Leveraging Elasticsearch functions/capabilities such as machine learning, creating custom Kibana plugins, and using Watcher to create monitoring rules. Leveraging Elasticsearch Kibana to create dashboards and visualizations.

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 7 years experience with developing and implementing applications.
-At least two years of experience with Business analysis, Requirements gathering and Project Management involving IT infrastructure
-Experience with system software and hardware infrastructure concepts
-Ability to perform periodic on-call and production support for the Elasticsearch environment
Working experience in:
Usage of dashboard tools such as Tableau, Elasticsearch Kibana, Grafana, Microsoft Power BI
Understanding of data formats such as XML and Json.
Experience with ETL processes (retrieving data from sources, transforming the data, storing data)
Experience with data structures, data types, indexes, databases
Proficiency with creating charts from the data.
Preferred experience in:
Scripting experience such as Perl, Python, Powershell
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
