U.S. Bank Corporate Banking Analyst 4 in PORTLAND, Oregon
Supports Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to manage an assigned portfolio of customer relationships. Completes accurate and consistent financial analyses of soft dollar operational exposure in accordance with bank standards and credit policies. Analyzes financial data to determine credit worthiness of soft dollar customers and prepares comprehensive written analyses of soft dollar risks. Analyzes portfolio credit quality and assists with soft dollar portfolio reports. Assists Portfolio Managers in preparing and presenting soft dollar templates for Credit Approval . Participates in and assists with quality control procedures, identification of soft dollar product risk, testing of systems’ updates, policy and product training, customer research, portfolio monitoring, audit responses and other complex portfolio management projects.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five or more years of experience in a finance/analytical related role
Strong background in economics, accounting, and/or finance and has the ability to apply knowledge in those areas to understand the overall lending and business environment
In-depth knowledge of soft dollar products and associated risks
In-depth knowledge of credit analysis, credit administration, credit policy and procedures, and risk analysis
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and bank depository and loan systems such as PEP , CAPE, AFS, MSP
Excellent technical report writing skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
