Elavon is currently seeking an eCommerce & Card Not Present (CNP) National Sales Representative, who will be a part of the Global eCommerce/CNP team. The eCommerce & CNP National Sales Representative will be responsible for driving new revenue from eCommerce and CNP merchant opportunities to enterprise businesses with revenues of greater than $50 million. This role is a combination of generated leads from our nationally-branded U.S. Bank partner in assigned markets, integrated partners, and self-generated leads. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Engages with product teams to help drive strategy;

  • Builds relationship with bankers, ISVs, and other lead sources to drive leads;

  • Acts as consultant for eCommerce payments;

  • Owns the full sales cycle from lead to close;

  • Develops profitable new business account relationships;

  • Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services;

  • Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients; and

  • Responds to RFPs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, relevant work experience

  • At least 8-10 years of sales experience in the payments/financial services industry

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Passion for innovation and emerging technology

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a client-facing role selling and/or supporting complex enterprise software, technical, or financial services

  • Experience selling eCommerce solutions in the merchant card industry

  • Understanding of both eCommerce and CNP payment processing environment

  • History of exceeding sales quotas

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Strong consultative sales skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to influence c-suite decision makers

  • Creative deal closer

  • Ability to understand complex requirements and devise customized solutions

  • Ability to build strong pipeline with profitable opportunities
