U.S. Bank Senior Automation Tester Specialist in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota

U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Senior Automation Tester Specialist with proven automation testing experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

-Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of manual and automated test scripts using tools such as UFT, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.

-Serves as subject matter expert on complex automation scripting and tool usage.

-Performs needs analysis of applications and available testing tools.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 7 years experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.

-At least 5 years experience with designing, planning and execution of system testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life cycle.

Preferred Skills/Experience

-Functional Testing experience, including ability to create, maintain and execute both manual and automated tests

-Expert knowledge in IT/Software quality assurance

-Expert knowledge with system/application testing tools and implementation

-Experience in: Unit Testing (including automation and integration with CI systems) and Agile Software Development (typically Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

-Open, honest, collaborative and clear intra-team communication skills

-Creative, flexible, and willing to continuously change, evolve, and improve software development processes

-Ability to identify, resolve, and retest defects

-Experience in service virtualization, test case modeling, and test data management tools and processes

-Demonstrated mentorship of more junior resources in technical and business topics

-Experience in CI/CD solutions, such as Jenkins and Maven

-Strong attention to detail

-Strong time management skills and communication/leadership skills
