U.S. Bank Development Group Manager 3 in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota
U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Development Group Manager with strong leadership abilities to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.
Responsible for application systems analysis and programming activities for a group.
Conducts feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications and programs.
Assists in projecting software and hardware requirements.
Assigns personnel to various projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates their work and prepares performance reports.
Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.
Consults with personnel in other Technology areas to coordinate activities.
Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the development group.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of experience in information systems technology and financial services industry applications
Five or more years of managerial experience
Superior knowledge of systems technology and functional area
Advanced technical and business knowledge of organization policies and procedures
Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbal and written, with senior leadership. This includes technical and non-technical leadership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in developing and managing project budgets
Ability to manage indirect resources via influence and leadership skills
Background in project management fundamentals.
