U.S. Bank Corporate Payments Systems (CPS) AML Compliance Analyst - RCA Professional 3 - Minneapolis, MN in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota

The Corporate Payments Systems (CPS) AML Compliance Analyst role is primarily focused on collecting and validating customer information to meet obligations under U.S., Canadian, and European Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.

The individual will have direct customer contact, coordinate with business line and enterprise risk partners, enhance current procedures and documentation. Over time this staff member will act as a business line subject matter expert in Anti-Money Laundering and KYC operations.

The qualified incumbent would have a strong track record working on an operations team to meet prescribed standards, understanding the customer experience and supporting a culture of innovation and continuous process improvement while emphasizing team member development and cross-functional training.

Previous Anti-Money Laundering and KYC experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Two to three years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Previous Anti-Money Laundering and KYC experience is preferred.

  • Thorough knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business

- International AML or regulatory knowledge a plus

  • Thorough understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

-Experience working directly with commercial customers as part of the onboarding process to open CPS products.

-Comfortable with daily interaction and communication (phone, email) with commercial customers.

  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills

  • Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
