U.S. Bank API Risk QA Analyst - RCA Professional 6 - Minneapolis in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota

Omnichannel is expanding within U.S. Bank and we are building out our API (Application Programing Interface) functionality.

As part of the Risk and Oversight for Omnichannel, we are looking a RCA professional to create, implement, maintain, review and oversee an effective risk management framework for our API process.

Successful candidate will ensure that the API control framework is working as designed by performing assessments of key process areas.

In addition, this team member will participate in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable controls and regulations.

This person will be responsible for identifying gaps and building solutions that minimize losses that may result from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors.

They will also identify, respond and/or escalate risks as appropriate.

Additionally they will serve as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Risk Lines of Defense.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Seven to ten years of experience in an applicable risk management environment

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Seven to ten years Quality Control (QC) testing to determine if processes are performing within standards

- Knowledge of API (Application Programing Interface) functionality

  • Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact the Omnichannel and Agile studios

- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework

  • Knowledge of data visualization software

- Agile related knowledge of Jira or Confluence

- Considerable understanding of Omnichannel’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

- Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations

- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
