U.S. Bank ATM Researcher (Weekends Off) in LAFAYETTE, Louisiana

ATM Researchers are responsible for balancing all ATMs within the respective group and filing claims as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

  • Reconciliation of ATMs on a daily basis

  • Filing of claims within 30 days for shortages as a result of armored carrier, processor, or customer

  • Entering and updating reconciliation items in ATM Tickler

  • Post overages and shortages to terminals as warranted

  • Assisting the Team Leader, Reconciliation Supervisor, Claims Collector, and VP of Operations in resolving outstanding claims

  • Follow up with customers and couriers on ATM issues

  • Notifying Journal Collection department of missing journals needed for research and claims

  • Filing and purging of balancing documents for the ATM Reconciliation Group

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Three to four years of experience in clerical and customer service activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Typing or keyboarding experience

  • Two years reconciliation experience preferred

  • Proficiency with PC’s and most commonly used business software, to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to write routing reports and correspondence

  • Fluency in the English language in order to effectively communicate with employees and customers, verbally and in writing

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and resolve problems involving multiple variables
