U.S. Bank Voice Authorization Agent 1 in KNOXVILLE, Tennessee

Provides high quality customer service by providing assistance on all Voice Authorization Calls from merchants, assisting with basic terminal and funding questions, and researching and resolving problems or errors. Assists merchants in processing audio response (Host) and voice authorization (non-Host) transactions, Address Verifications, Referrals, Batch Inquiry and Settlement, Full Card Number requests, and reports of lost or stolen cards. Assists Customer Service in basic statement and findings questions in cases of overflow. Assists with the Return Mail Process. Communicates policies, procedures and practices to customers, and requests exceptions as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One to two years of clerical and customer service experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good problem-solving skills as well as the ability to handle difficult customer calls

  • Proven commitment to high quality customer service

  • Good keyboard and PC skills using MS Office suite in a Windows environment
