U.S. Bank Corporate and Commercial Banking Technology/Government Banking/Mortgage Banking Division Credit Officer in Knoxville, Tennessee

This is a Division Credit Officer position within Credit Risk Management (CRM) covering Corporate and Commercial Banking. This position is responsible for first line review by CRM for three specialized industries - Technology, Government Banking, and Mortgage Banking. The majority of the focus will be on the Technology portfolio which encompasses a wide variety of clients under the Technology umbrella. As Division Credit Officer you will review credit underwriting documentation, partner with and provide guidance to the business lines on structure, conformity with bank policies, credit concerns, accuracy of assigned ratings (PDR), ongoing portfolio monitoring and management, and the annual review of credit policies. You will work closely with Portfolio and Relationship Managers, as well as with senior CRM officers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree

  • 15 or more years in corporate credit analysis, structuring, approval, and portfolio management

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • 5 or more years of corporate credit approval experience

  • Demonstrated analytical and risk management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of organization, business practices, business philosophy, and ethics

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills

  • Expert knowledge of credit policies.

  • Well-developed customer relations skills
