U.S. Bank Application Developer in HOUSTON, Texas

U.S. Bank National Association (“U.S. Bank”) is hiring an Application Developer in Houston, TX. Duties: Analyze business requirements and design, test, and develop software to meet requirements; Design, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer applications of high complexity, significance, and risk; Design complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms; May perform some application architecture functions; Estimate and define time tables and project tasks; Analyze and estimate cost and time; Perform change impact analysis; Create and review unit and test plans; Create detailed program specifications; Analyze and resolve complex technical problems related to applications; Manage interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations; and Monitor operating efficiency of existing application systems and recommend technical solutions. Additional job duties: Create, provide, and organize reporting and other business intelligence activities; Create and maintain custom extracts using Crystal Reports 11 utilizing Oracle and SQL Server databases; Coordinate with the Data Warehouse Administrator for the creation of new warehouse tables, stored procedures to support MIS initiatives; Review and optimize SQL Server/Oracle queries and stored procedures; Develop and maintain store procedures in SQL Server and Oracle; and Perform database analysis work for the benefit of the entire company. Will utilize: Crystal Reports 11, managing Business Objects Enterprise V4, PL/SQL Oracle 11g or 12g., T-SQL Server 2008/2014, SQL Server Integration Services, and SQL Server Reporting Services. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience developing and implementing applications. Must possess 5 years developing in Crystal Reports 11; managing Business Objects Enterprise V4; and with PL/SQL Oracle 11g or 12g. 3 years with T-SQL Server 2008/2014. 2 years with SQL Server Integration Services; SQL Server Reporting Services.
