U.S. Bank Payments Risk Compliance Analyst in Fargo, North Dakota

We are seeking a Senior Payment Services Risk Compliance and Program Manager to join the Payment Services Risk Compliance team.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing, managing, and reporting on compliance controls and monitoring

activities across Payment Services.

• Serving as a functional liaison between the line of business and the lines of

defense.

• Actively participating in compliance projects and activities; identifying gaps and

recommending solutions; and actively identifying, responding to, and

escalating risks.

• Partnering with the Payment Services business units and Corporate

Compliance to create, implement, maintain, review, and oversee an effective

compliance risk management framework.

• Serving as a credible challenge in the First Line of Defense.

• Leading the First Line of Defense oversight of Payment Services compliance

controls and monitoring activities, which includes a focus on compliance review

processes.

• Working with business units to ensure compliance control systems and

processes are effective and efficient and working in line with corporate

standards.

• Partnering with the Payment Services business units to define and resolve

issues identified through business line quality assurance, independent

compliance testing performed by Compliance Quality Assurance in the Second

Line of Defense, or other sources.

• Analyzing compliance risk metrics and participates in the preparation and

review of monthly and quarterly business line compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Seven to ten years of experience in an applicable risk management

environment

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, analytical, project

management, organizational, problem solving; and facilitation skills.

  • Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s)

proactively identify and address changing workforce needs

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages,

including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets,

databases, and presentations

  • Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services,

and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business

  • Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations,

products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

  • Applicable professional certifications preferred
